BJU REVIVAL CONFERENCE

Dates: 21 – 23 June 2010

Venue: Pasir Panjang Christ Church (302, Pasir Panjang Road)

Time: 7pm – 9.30pm

Chanceller Bob Jones III & President Stephen Jones are in town for a revival conference organized by Jesus Saves Mission, Singapore. All are invited for the three nights preaching at Pasir Panjang Christ Church.

Dr Bob Jones will be preaching on the theme of “These Dangerous Last Days”

Dr Stephen Jones

Dr. Stephen Jones, also the current president of Bob Jones University will be preaching on the theme: Christ’s Instructions Regarding Sin in the Life of the Believer.

For ladies who are free in the daytime, you can attend the Family Seminar for Ladies at Jesus Saves Mission (68 Lorong 16 Geylang, Association Building #02-02/03) It starts at 3pm on 21st-23rd June. Mrs Beneth Jones (wife of Dr. Bob Jones III) & Mrs. Erin Jones (wife of Dr. Stephen Jones) will be speaking.

Part of the BJU mission team will also be presenting a special message this Sunday at FIBC. Please invite your unsaved/unchurched friends along.

Text: Ecclesiastes 8:1-8

Topic: The King and I

Time: 10 a.m. (March 29th, 2009)

Introduction: (v. 1)

Solomon teaches us how to relate to those in authority.

Obey! (v. 2)

Obedience is required because of an oath of loyalty.

Don’t Rebel! (vv. 3 – 4)

A king can do whatever he wants, even destroy his adversary.

Discern the Times! (vv. 5 – 6)

The wise man knows there is a proper time and procedure in which to change things.

Challenge (vv. 7- 8 )

We are limited and often powerless. Will you turn to Christ who in complete control?
